LONDON (Reuters) - Everton manager Sam Allardyce has denied reports of a rift with Wayne Rooney as British media continued to indicate that the former England captain will end an unhappy spell at Goodison Park by moving to Major League Soccer.
Rooney missed Everton's final game of the season at West Ham United with a knee injury and has been widely reported by British media to have agreed a deal "in principle" to sign with DC United.
