Burnley sign Kiwi striker Wood in club record deal

BURNLEY, England (Reuters) - Burnley have signed striker Chris Wood from Leeds United on a four year contract for a club record fee, the Premier League team announced on Monday.

The New Zealand international striker, who scored 27 goals in the second tier Championship last season, is reported to have cost Burnley more than 15 million pounds ($19.3 million) plus additional payments. The club did not disclose the fee.
