GEORGE TOWN: The Football Association of Penang (FAP) have axed two of their foreign players for failing to impress in the Super League.

President Zairil Khir Johari (pic) said the services of Australian Diogo Ferreira, 27, and former Hong Kong player, Andrew Russell, 29, were terminated after a discussion with Penang head coach Zainal Abidin Hassan.
