AFC slap JDT with RM66,000 fine

PETALING JAYA: Super League champions Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) have been fined by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) for not sending their head coach to the AFC Cup pre-match conference against Global of the Philippines.

The AFC disciplinary committee have ordered the Southern Tigers to pay a fine of US$15,000 (RM66,330) for violating Article 3.3.9 of the AFC Cup 2017 Regulations.
