Khairy promises not to take sides in fight for FAM presidency


PUTRAJAYA: Khairy Jamaluddin has promised not to take sides in the fight for the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) presidency.

The Youth and Sports Minister pulled out of the race at the close of nomination on Monday, leaving Tunku Mahkota of Johor Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim and Tan Sri Annuar Musa to battle for the president’s post on March 25. Tan Sri Aseh Che Mat also withdrew from the contest.
