The 29-year-old Faiz is on the three-player shortlist for the Puskas Award Goal of the Year for 2016 in the awards ceremony on Monday.

He was nominated for his physics-defying free-kick goal scored during Penang’s Super League match against Pahang on Feb 16 last year.
