PETALING JAYA: Police have made an abrupt U-turn and will settle for life in the second-tier Premier League next season.

The Cops had lodged a complaint with the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) on Oct 26 after they found out already-crowned champions Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) had fielded suspended striker Juan Lucero in their 4-0 Super League win at the Larkin Stadium on Aug 16.
