PETALING JAYA: The future augurs well for newly-crowned Malaysia Cup champions Kedah.

Coach Tan Cheng Hoe believes there are better days ahead after he guided the Red Eagles to their fifth Malaysia Cup title at the Shah Alam Stadium on Sunday. Kedah beat 33-time champions Selangor 6-5 in a sudden-death penalty shootout after both teams were tied 1-1 at the end of extra-time.
