LONDON (Reuters) - New manager Sam Allardyce said the days of talking about England's potential were over and it had to become reality as he looked ahead to qualifying for the 2018 World Cup.

Holding his first news conference since being named as Roy Hodgson's successor, Allardyce said he "fits the chair" and can turn around the country's fortunes after a torrid Euro 2016 exit.
