PETALING JAYA: It’s game over for skipper Safiq Rahim.

The Johor Darul Ta’zim’s (JDT) inspirational playmaker is still troubled by a thigh injury and will play no part in Malaysia’s two-match Asian Cup playoffs against Timor Leste. The first leg is at the Larkin Stadium in Johor Baru on Thursday. The second leg, also at the Larkin Stadium, is on June 6.
