BRUSSELS (Reuters) - Departing striker Romelu Lukaku says there was a breakdown in the relationship between the Everton players and Roberto Martinez before the manager was sacked towards the end of the Premier League season.

Despite the Merseyside club reaching the semi-finals of both domestic cups last season, Martinez was sacked on May 12 after a slump in their league form.
