GEORGE TOWN: Kedah will take a slim one-goal advantage to the Larkin Stadium for the return leg after clinching a hard-earned 2-1 victory over Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) in their FA Cup semi-final first leg encounter.
A wonderful strike from Sandro da Silva gave the Red Eagles the edge after Juan Lucero had cancelled out Farhan Roslan’s opener for the home side at the Darulaman Stadium in Alor Setar. All three goals were scored in an entertaining first half.
