JDT fail to qualify for Champions League


PETALING JAYA: Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) failed again in their bid to qualify for the Asian Champions League.

The AFC Cup reigning champions were bundled out 3-0 on penalty shoot-out by Muangthong United in the AFC Champions League second qualifying playoff after both teams failed to break the deadlock in regulation and extra time at the SCG Stadium in Nonthaburi, Thailand on Tuesday.
