LONDON (Reuters) - Manchester City crushed Sunderland 4-1 but their Premier League title aspirations suffered a major blow as skipper and defensive lynch-pin Vincent Kompany hobbled off with a calf injury.
The Belgian had come on as a second-half substitute for Nicolas Otamendi, his first appearance after an eight-game spell on the sidelines with a similar injury, but lasted only eight minutes.
