VILNIUS (Reuters) - Lithuania is investigating its football federation on suspicion of large scale embezzlement, its state financial crimes investigation authority said on Thursday.
The investigation will check how support money from international football bodies to Lithuania was used by the federation, Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevicius told reporters.
