PETALING JAYA: Pahang’s Matthew Davies had never scored an own goal – until last week.

The rightback was credited with an own goal in the 2-0 defeat to Lions XII in their Malaysia Cup quarter-finals, second-leg tie at the Jalan Besar Stadium last week. Although Pahang lost, they advanced to the semi-finals with a 4- 3 aggregate win.
