LONDON (Reuters) - Sunderland will avoid relegation if they match last season's tally of 13 Premier League clean sheets, manager Sam Allardyce said on Thursday as he continued to focus on plugging the holes in his team's porous rearguard.

Third from bottom Sunderland have already conceded 26 goals in 13 league games this term and Allardyce left no doubts that defensive stability was his top priority.
