Selangor reprimanded by FAM for failure to release players

PETALING JAYA: The FA of Selangor (FAS) have been let off with a warning for not replying to national coach Dollah Salleh’s request for the release of their three players for an exhibition match in July.

Australian Robert Cornthwaite and locals Afiq Azmi and Ahmad Hazwan Bakri were supposed to check in at Wisma FAM in Kelana Jaya for centralised training to prepare for the Malaysian Selection’s friendly against Liverpool at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil on July 24.
