Wales banking on Bale to clinch Euro 2016 place

LONDON (Reuters) - Gareth Bale, who has missed Real Madrid's last three matches with a calf injury, was named in the Wales squad on Thursday for this month's Euro 2016 qualifiers against Bosnia and Andorra.

The former Tottenham Hotspur forward is expected to return to Real's team for the league derby against Atletico on Sunday. If he comes through that he will be in the side to face Bosnia in Zenica on Oct. 10.
