PETALING JAYA: Hosts Malaysia found Japan a mountain too high to climb in the semi-finals of the AFC Women’s Futsal Champion­ship.

Despite the Malaysian girls’ good run to reach the last four, they were outclassed by Japan who showed no mercy in their 8-1 thrashing at the Nilai Indoor Stadium on Friday.
