GEORGE TOWN: The Football Association of Penang (FAP) insist that dissatisfaction over promotion bonus payments was not the main cause for Penang’s heavy defeat in their opening Malaysia Cup match.

The Panthers fell 3-0 to fellow Premier League side PKNS FC in Group D on Saturday. It was the islanders’ first loss at the City Stadium this year.
