Japan’s Kashima open Asian Champions Trophy with big win


PETALING JAYA: Debutants Kashima Antlers made short work of Phnom Penh Crown FC of Cambodia with an easy 5-0 win in the opening game of the 2015 Asian Champions Trophy (ACT).

Playing in Group B, the Japan Youth Cup champions led through an own goal by Noeut Suon (11th) before Yuki Kakita (13th), Hayato Ishizu (23rd), Yuki Shikama (59th) and Juriya Yoshioka completed the rout at the Kashima Soccer Stadium on Wednesday.
