Malaysia can kiss their U-16 title goodbye after Timor Leste loss

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia can forget about retaining the Asean Football Federation (AFF) Under-16 Championship title after suffering a 3-1 loss to minnows Timor Leste in their penultimate Group A match.

The Malaysians now only have a mathematical chance of qualifying for the semi-finals after suffering their second defeat in the group at the Olympic Stadium in Phnom Penh on Sunday.
