PETALING JAYA: Super-sub R. Gopinathan was the hero in 10-man Pahang’s opening win of the AFC Cup competition.

The Elephants passed the test by the skin of their teeth after Gopi scored a late winner to edge Yadanarbon FC of Myanmar 3-2 in their Group G match at the Mandalar Thiri Stadium in Mandalay on Wednesday.
