New AFF headquarters can turn Malaysian into region's football hub

PUTRAJAYA: Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) president Tengku Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah hopes that the Asean Football Federation’s (AFF) new headquarters in Putrajaya will help turn Malaysia into the region’s football hub.

The AFF’s new 26,000 sq ft five-storey building in Precinct 5 here is expected to be completed in 2017. The building will be situated next to the planned Putrajaya Stadium.
