LONDON (Reuters) - Under-pressure Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert accused his struggling side of throwing in the towel during a 5-0 thrashing at Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday.

A resounding defeat at the Emirates Stadium consigned Villa to their third consecutive league loss and left them two places and three points above the relegation zone.
