Torres will make loan move to Milan permanent next month

LONDON (Reuters) - Former Spain forward Fernando Torres' loan move from Chelsea to AC Milan will become a permanent transfer next month, the Premier League club said on Saturday.

The news came as a complete surprise because Atletico Madrid assistant coach German Burgos said earlier in the day that Torres was all set to rejoin his boyhood club.
