KOTA BARU: Kelantan placed themselves in the driver’s seat to qualify for the semi-finals after notching a 3-1 victory over Kedah in the Malaysia Cup quarter-final first leg tie in front of a sell-out crowd at the Sultan Mohd IV Stadium here.
Striker Francis Doe took advantage of Kedah’s inability to clear their lines from corner set-pieces to score a first half brace, with Fakri Saarani adding a third goal with a brilliant header in the 60th minute.
