LONDON (Reuters) - West Ham United plunged managerless Crystal Palace deeper into the mire with a 3-1 win on Saturday prompting the home side's caretaker manager Keith Millen to admit a “tough week” may have taken its toll on the players.
Goals from Mauro Zarate, Stewart Downing and Carlton Cole secured the points and lifted the pressure on West Ham boss Sam Allardyce while piling more on to beleaguered Palace.
