Khairy: Come down hard on troublemakers

KUALA LUMPUR: The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) must take firm and prompt action to clamp down on crowd trouble during football matches, said Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin.

He said he would seek cooperation from the FAM to identify the problems and provide strategies to avoid a repeat of the stand-off between JDT fans and police during the FA Cup semi-final first-leg match against Pahang at the Larkin Stadium in Johor Baru on May 5.
