AFC boss told to spend less energy on politics

(Reuters) - Asian Football Confederation (AFC) president Sheikh Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa has been told by the continent's FIFA vice-president to spend less time on politics and more on developing the sport.

Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein, elected as Asia's FIFA vice-president in 2011, made the comments as he criticised a campaign for his position on the executive committee to be automatically handed to the AFC president, starting from next year.
