Recife may be only 2014 World Cup venue without fan fest

SAO PAULO (Reuters) - Recife could be the only 2014 World Cup venue in Brazil without an official fan fest after the city mayor said he would not spend public money to organise and host events.

Officials said they had not cancelled the fests but rather decided not to invest in them.
