LONDON (Reuters) - West Ham United will know later on Friday whether Andy Carroll will have to complete a three-match suspension after the English FA agreed to an arbitration hearing following a failed appeal against his red card in a Premier League match last week.
West Ham co-chairman David Gold said on Thursday he intended to take legal action following the FA's decision to uphold Carroll's dismissal by referee Howard Webb after the striker clashed with Swansea defender Chico Flores at Upton Park.
