Falcao given 50-50 World Cup chance after knee surgery

BOGOTA (Reuters) - Colombia striker Radamel Falcao has been given a 50-50 chance of playing at the World Cup in June after undergoing a successful knee operation on Saturday.

Falcao, his country's big hope for their first appearance at finals since 1998, sustained cruciate ligament damage in his left knee while playing for Monaco in a French Cup tie on Wednesday.
