(Reuters) - West Ham United are in talks about bringing in a new striker to bolster their misfiring forward line after another shot-shy display against bottom side Sunderland left them with a fifth 0-0 draw of the season and heightened their relegation concerns.
Manager Sam Allardyce said the Premier League strugglers would be much closer to safety if they had someone they could rely on to bang in the goals.
