LONDON (Reuters) - UEFA President Michel Platini has ordered an internal inquiry to find out why Romanian referee Ovidiu Hategan and his assistants did not follow UEFA guidelines following alleged racist behaviour during CSKA Moscow's match against Manchester City on Wednesday.
City's captain Yaya Toure pointed out to the referee what he claimed was racist chanting from CSKA Moscow fans during the Champions League game, but the referee did not follow UEFA's protocol following such an allegation.
