PSG and Brazil captain Silva out for six weeks

PARIS (Reuters) - Paris St Germain centre back Thiago Silva will be out of action for six weeks with a left thigh injury and is out of contention for Brazil's friendly internationals in October.

The 28-year-old PSG and Brazil captain picked up the injury in the 1-1 home draw against Monaco in Ligue 1 on Sunday and had to be replaced after 15 minutes.
