PETALING JAYA: Super League champions Lions XII seemed to have lost their sting in the Malaysia Cup competition after their second consecutive defeat in Group D – losing 1-0 to Perak at the Perak Stadium in Ipoh last night.
Former international Azlan Ismail was Perak’s hero as his ninth-minute goal enabled his team to top the standings with seven points.
