KUANTAN: Kelantan opened their Malaysia Cup title defence with a bruising 1-1 draw against Pahang in a Group C match at the Darul Makmur Stadium here Tuesday night.

In a match which saw both teams having a player each sent off in the second half, the Red Warriors will be kicking themselves for not returning from Kuantan with three points in the bag after being in front for the most part of the game.
