Fans turn stadium into sea of red and blue


Johor Darul Takzim's supporters all pumped up before the match against Kelantan in the FA Cup final at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil Saturday night.

KUALA LUMPUR: Kelantan and Johor Darul Takzim (JDT) fans turned the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil into a sea of red and blue for the 24th edition of the FA Cup final last night.

Although the game was only scheduled to kick off at 8.45pm, the gates were opened as early as 4pm. And, by 6pm, the 87,000 capacity stadium was almost packed to the brim. Police were on hand to control the crowd and there were no major untoward incidents.
