PETALING JAYA: It was a tough day for Malaysia at the World Championships in Singapore, as Olympic divers Pandelela Rinong and Phee Jinq En were forced to withdraw from their respective pet events.

Two-time Olympic medallist Pandelela’s old injury flared up just before she was due to compete in the women’s 10m platform synchro preliminary event in the afternoon.
