Chance for Pandelela-Dhabitah to be first to grab Olympics ticket

High hopes: All eyes will be on whether Pandelela (right) and Dhabitah can secure one of the three early quota Olympic spots at stake in the 10m platform synchro event.

PETALING JAYA: Women divers Pandelela Rinong-Nur Dhabitah Sabri have a shot at becoming the first Malaysian athletes to book their Paris Olympics tickets if they get their act right at the World Aquatics Championships in Japan later this month.

The diving competition at the world meet takes place from July 14-22 and will serve as the first phase of qualification for the Paris Olympics.
