KIMBERLY Bong almost gave up diving in 2019 because of a shoulder injury, but she decided instead to switch to springboard from the platform.

It paid off in Cambodia as she became Malaysia’s latest SEA Games diving champion, delivering the women’s 3m springboard individual gold medal for the country.
