Malaysia win gold at Asia Diving Cup event

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia swept to a 1-2 finish the men's 1m springboard final with Muhd Syafiq Puteh bagging the gold medal in the at the Asia Diving Cup in Bukit Jalil here on Friday (Sept 6).

The 24-year-old scored 356.50 points for first place, while his teammate and 17-year-old Gabriel Gilbert had 299.10 points for the silver.
