Bad outing for Dhabitah and Wendy in Russia


PETALING JAYA: Wendy Ng and Nur Dhabitah Sabri (pic) failed to make an impression when they finished last in the 3m springboard synchro final at the Diving World Series in Kazan, Russia.

The Asian Games silver medallists picked up 262.74 points to end up in eighth spot.

China’s Lin Shan-Chan Yani bagged the gold medal with 302.1 points ahead of Australia’s Maddison Keeney-Anabelle Smith (283.98). The bronze medal went to Ukraine’s Viktoriya Kesar-Anna Pysmenska with 273.60 points.

It was Wendy’s first competition in nine months since undergoing a shoulder surgery.
