Shocked: Former national diving coach Yang Zhuliang said it was baffling that the coaches did not hear anything about the divers having a party.

PETALING JAYA: Former national diving head coach Yang Zhuliang expressed his shock over videos that showed misconduct of divers in the Malaysian team.

“This should not have happened in the first place,” said Zhuliang, the former Chinese coach, whose contract under the Podium Programme was not renewed at the end of last year despite producing a world champion in Cheong Jun Hoong and Olympic medallists (Pandelela Rinong and Jun Hoong).
