Diver Jun Hoong misses final in Canada


Jun Hoong could only finish fifth in the semi-final in the fifth round of the Diving World Series in Windsor in Canada.

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia’s Cheong Jun Hoong failed to make the women’s 3m springboard individual final in the fifth round of the Diving World Series in Windsor, Canada.

The Asian Games bronze medallist could only manage 290.55 points to finish fifth in the first semi-final heat on Saturday. Jennifer Abel of Canada collected 333.95 points in the heat to lead two others into the final.
