Pandelela fumbles as she misses 10m platform final in Kazan

Pandelela could only finish fourth in the first semi-final heat to miss the top-six final.

PETALING JAYA: Pandelela Rinong’s impressive record of never missing out on the women’s 10m platform individual final came to an end in the third round of the Diving World Series in Kazan, Russia.

The 22-year-old missed out on a place in the top-six final after she could only finish fourth in the first semi-final heat on Saturday. She found the going tough as the competition progressed and it did not help that she collected a poor 54.40 points in the fourth dive. Pandelela finished with 335.20 points.
