Cyclist Izzah urged to move on after setback at worlds

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian National Cycling Federation (MNCF) president Datuk Amarjit Singh Gill is hoping track cyclist Nurul Izzah Izzati Mohd Asri (pic) can put the World Championships setback in Chile behind her and focus on preparing for what will be an important season for her next year.

On Sunday, Izzah failed to clear the early rounds of the women’s keirin after placing third in her first round heat behind Britain’s Emma Finucane and Japan’s Haruka Nakazawa.
