More than just second best

Well done!: Nur Aiman Rosli celebrating after finishing second. — MUHAMAD SHAHRIL ROSLI/The Star

ISKANDAR PUTERI: Persistence paid off for Terengganu Cycling Team (TSG) rider Nur Aiman Rosli, who finally earned a place on the podium after finishing second in Stage Seven of the Le Tour de Langkawi (LTdL) from Melaka to Medini yesterday.

Although his dream of ending Malaysia’s five-year drought for a stage victory in the LTdL did not come true, Aiman’s achievement was still a proud one after his bold solo breakaway in the final 24 kilometres to the finish line.
